I'm kind of surprised Cheap Son is okay with these international PS guys.

I mean that's an extra salary you have to pay!

I know, but I don't agree with it. Unless you are planning on cutting the guy, he's going to get his money for the year regardless so it hardly matters if it's guaranteed anyway in most cases, assuming a one year deal. At the end of the season it's off the books regardless.

The number of Olineman and Dlineman we have on the roster is insane to me. Flournoy would actually have a good chance of being active on game days. Is your fifth guard or 6th DT going to be active?

Not that Flournoy is some special talent but your WR room is set to be empty after this season outside of Lamb. And I'm not sure when Turpin became a legit WR because he is really here as a specialist who plays occasionally on offense.

I think Flournoy had a chance to develop. Instead after Pickens and Tolbert become free agents WR is going to become a desperate need position again. And now the one guy worth developing who was locked up for the next 3 years you cut.

But they can only do that for so long. One of them or another will need to be added to 53 man before too long. I think 3 times per season per guy they can be elevated from practice squad.

I just don't believe we will carry this many Olineman for too long. Like we joke that we are trying to get inside information from an Eagles player but I have no explanation besides that for why we have so many backup Olineman right now.

On the other hand we are one injury away from eliminating every 4 WR formation in our playbook. Seems kind of nuts to me.

True but they've alternated doing that with guys in the past. They could do 3 weeks of Flournoy and then three weeks of Brooks and that buys them six weeks before they have to make a roster decision, and by then there could be injury situations which makes massaging the roster a much clearer decision.
