I'm sure it's frustrating going from the elite player Zeke was 5 year ago to what he is now. But there is no turning back the hands of time. He will never get the burst, speed or contact balance back. I honestly wish we had never brought him back because I thought it would be an uncomfortable dynamic. But here we are with no decent RB on the roster.

I don't agree with that from the perspective of the running back. That's the dumb coach's fault for running on 3rd and 10. And also, it's much easier to run on 3rd and 10 than on 3rd and 2 because of how the defense plays it.

I actually wouldn't trade for Adams either, but because of the compensation. We need those picks since we don't sign free agents, and especially high picks.

The money part is stupid and yeah he shouldn't have said that.

I think he's performed well enough to get more touches, but if he's frustrated he can go fuck himself. He wanted this more than anybody. Take what you get.

He is just making the point that getting 10 yards on a third and 20 might be a good YPC but it's an empty stat and a bad play where the defense isn't even worried about stopping the run.

That's true and yes, that's a case in point why YPC is unreliable.

Yeah his services weren't exactly in high demand. I'm not saying he wouldn't be on someone's practice squad right now but I don't think he would be getting carries in many backfields anymore. Most teams just have multiple better RBs.

I hate when Jerry says shit like this. First of all he has no idea what he is talking about. Second of all, he was a sixth round pick. And now you're going to throw out Dez Bryant comparisons. As if the kid wasn't already feeling pressure. Now lets put the pressure on him of being compared to one of the best WR's in Cowboys history. It's just dumb. Let the kid play and be himself and see what he does.

Personally, when he finally got healthy he impressed me in preseason. He showed potential. I have no idea what he will do in a regular season game. I'm glad he is getting a shot though. We kind of know what all the other guys on our roster are.

If the organization actually showed a commitment to excellence and winning I'd say this is a very reasonable response.

In reality they are a bunch of hillbilly hucksters who literally spend half their time gaslighting the fanbase into thinking they're really serious people who really care about winning when in reality they don't give the first fuck as long as the cash keeps flowing.

I don't know about cheerleading but the assumption that the playoffs are guaranteed feels misplaced. I don't care how good the Cowboys are come playoff time if we aren't in the playoffs.
