That's just weird but I think this could ultimately be better for the offense. I think getting Tolbert and Brooks more involved is a good thing for the offense. Cooks has not looked particularly good in his role. Maybe the role is wrong, maybe the skills have declined, but whatever the reason it may be good to take a look at the younger guys. This season is a wash to me anyway.

I don't doubt that his skills have declined a little. That is just natural but they aren't taking advantage of the routes that he does run well. Square peg in a round hole shit that they always do.

Yeah, and I always acknowledge this. Curls and comebacks for a guy like Cooks only work if the defender is afraid of him going deep. If the defender doesn't have that fear it's not going to work.

Our offensive passing routes were so repetitive and basic against the Giants. No idea if this is by design or game plan or what. But if it's going to continue Cooks is kind of useless. Tolbert is better at that sort of stuff than Cooks.

This season is proof the Gods hate Jerry and his ilk.
After the shit offseason and bloated promises it couldn’t turn out better than a 8-9 or 7-10 season for this joke of a franchise.

His stats are confusing. He says 27th in points. We are 11th.

But we are 27th in points allowed.

Anyway nothing shocking. We suck at defense. Overall the offense is borderline just outside the top 10. But our offense is awful at running the ball.
