Yeah, and while I love Wilson, I think Bell is the same type of safety. Flies all over the place, can blitz, and while not physical for a LBer, he is really physical for a safety. Plus he has great speed. Dallas would never do it but if you want to win the NFL trading game, he is the type of guy you trade. Not someone like Bell who costs nothing and will fetch you little to nothing.

I mean the bonus is he costs you nothing in 2025. And at a base salary of 5.5 mil, he would be really attractive to Dan Quinn. Cap numbers are fungible. Flip a switch on another guy and move their money to 2025. You save money in the end. Although it's about a savings over his contract of 12 mil.
 
Man, I want to keep Wilson anyway. He's one of our few guys who will hit a MFer in the mouth and not care.

He plays a Harrison Smith role on the defense. Just like Bell would in my opinion. Zimmer knows how to use a safety who can play in the box. Hell, he used Roy Williams at one point.

That is one game that I am avoiding watching over again. I have watched all kinds of embarrassments over again, but I have feeling that the reason I am dodging it is that it may make me intensely angry.

You can't be a "lion" when you have thin skin and are constantly concerning yourself with every little opinion people have of you.

He needs to change both his mental approach to things and his professionalism, and one of the ways to do that is to realize that his podcast is a distraction.
