I don't know which part of this to be more indignant over... I mean, the whole thing is a fucking disgrace, but it's completely disingenuous and misleading, but to even remotely suggest that Pete Hegseth is a neophyte in the arena of the US military is a slap in the face.

I’ll be curious to see what that report says about Gaetz’ conduct.

I like Gaetz’ tenacity, but I also don’t like pedophiles. If he fucked someone under age, he should face the music.

C-Lab posted an article a little further back in this thread that details (or actually lack of) the accusations against him and the events that preceded them, that made him a target of the left. I'm betting it's bullshit but absolutely, if he is guilty, he should be held accountable.

The left has literally said that it's part of their playbook to drum up false accusations and feed it to the media to lend credibility to it. We've seen them do it a thousand times at this point (Cavanaugh, Thomas, Trump, on and on). It's a shame that they've abused this because a lot of people don't believe anything anymore so if something real comes along nothing is believable.

So yeah, if true obviously he should be prosecuted and nowhere near public office, but this is a three year old story. Why hasn't he been on trial in all this time?

Yeah, they've gone to that well too many times but it is effective. Once you're slapped with that label, it's hard to shake it.

The real damning part (for the Dems) is the significant/unprecedented inroads Trump made in "deep blue" states (i.e. NY, NJ CA). If all these Dem congressman and governors continue this campaign of resistance, they too will be voted out.
