Yes. He could come in but it would mean your starter was not eligible to play in the game. You would run 2 and 3 after that if it went that far.

Wouldn't count as your 46. Emergency QB was the designation.

Perhaps it is not as bad as it sounds, meaning the game on the schedule would have to be complete dogshit and you would have to know it a month out. It might not even get used.
