I was listening to a show recently and they mentioned that owners really don't make much money on ticket sales for 2nd and 3rd level seating.
The real money comes from network deals; which is why they don't give a flying fuck about inconveniencing the common fan.
Personally I'm not subscribing to a bunch of extra streaming services just to watch the NFL. Coverage of the sport is becoming oversaturated as it is. If there's a game on Prime or whatever that I really want to watch, I'll find myself a shady stream to watch.

This is basically the end of the kickoff, nobody is ever going to catch the ball on the 7 yard line and attempt a return when you can automatically get it at the 25.
