We would get handled by Philadelphia without Pollard.

Maybe so, but teams build off of getting over certain humps and accomplishing certain goals.

And this isn't like the disappointing, choking ass teams of the past. This team has the character and the leadership to go far and getting to the NFCC would have been something that this particular team would have been able to build off of.

The staff is the best we've had in ages too, so damn near all the pieces are there.

I wanted to be in that NFCC so bad and the team deserved to be there.

Fuck Dak Prescott.

If they're as tough and resilient as you say they are, and I agree that they are, then they'll build off of it and be even more motivated next to around.

The fact that Quinn is back raises the baseline for this team immensely.

Yeah, but my faith in Dak has never been lower.

I don't trust him for shit.

Fuck Kellen Moore, Dak has his problems but a good OC would scheme around them

I agree with that, but no coach or player can make him settle down when he gets the jitters.

What is anybody going to do if he goes into a game or a situation and just folds to the pressure?

Nothing.

It doesn't matter what plays were called or what talent we could have surrounded him with in the second half of that game last Sunday, because after he threw that pick to end the first half he completely folded.

I want to know what a great play caller or having another elite receiver is going to do in those moments where he isn't seeing the field or reading the defense because he's so mentally fried he plays scared.

Then what?

The easiest option is to design the offense so he doesn't get into his own head like that. I really hope I never see another 3wr all running curls ever again

I don't agree with that, someone like Reid could absolutely calm him down

Yeah a great QB coach and offensive coordinator can do wonders for those things. The great offensive coordinators know how to get a QB in rhythm when they are in a funk. We just don't have that and we definitely didn't have a usable RB without Pollard to help either.

Agree on all points. A qb whisperer won't change shit.

How about you fly your rabbit’s foot in your ass to San Francisco next time and slap your thighs in a $700 seat if you want it so bad?

You have the power and you didn’t use it responsibly, Spider-Man.

I love it when you talk dirty.

Just like with any QB, he’ll get happy feet playing on the road vs the #1 defense without difference makers to throw to.

Michael Gallup might as well have not gotten off the team plan in SF. Zeke was just another blocker. Schultz got exposed as the slightly above average TE he is. Pollard might not be able to handle the physicality when the intensity ratchets up like that.

It wasn’t just Dak, there was a team failure. Dak was most responsible though. Those two picks were ridiculous.

I’m growing to like McCarthy. He had the Cowboys ready to play in both the playoff games, something we haven’t seen in a long time.
I’m really hoping they get rid of Moore and bring a new OC that can help Dak.

Yeah the receivers don't get much separation. Part of that is scheme, part of that is the piss poor quality of our receivers after Lamb.

It would certainly have made a difference to keep Cooper, and there's a large part of my brain that suspects had we kept Cooper we'd have beaten SF. We just were down to one weapon after Pollard went down.
I really believe it’s the route tree with the leftover Garrett stench. A good OC could scheme open anyone we have at WR- I watch tons of no names get wide open on other teams week in and week out. Moore just isn’t that great at the subtle nuances of the game.

Subtle my ass. Next year we’ll have curlier curls. Curls that’ll make your pubes look straight

No one can scheme Noah Brown open. I'm sorry, he is lower than a no name.
