I can't find it on teh interwebz, but years ago I read a statistic that the Irvin/Aikman combo is the highest % of WR-QB combo for one WR comprising one QB's career passing yardage in NFL history.

It was something like Irvin was 1/3 of Aikman's total yardage.

yeah, we ain't gettin' that third pick

What teams won’t be playing full effort?

Week 16 and 17, the Eagles and Giants will be fighting for the division still

Reasonable the 49ers will still be in the race for at least #7 spot.

bengals and redskins are the two games that standout. We win both and 4-12 still could net #3

Yes. There's still a fair amount of talent on this team and from the last two games it's clear they haven't quit.
True, but it’s true also that we have gaping holes to be addressed and fat contracts to purge.

This Vikings game is going to basically tell us whether or not we're going to win the division or end up with the 3rd or 4th pick.

If we play like we did against the Steelers, and especially if we somehow find a way to win, I think we might be favorites for the division. If we come out and play like we have most of the season, you can cash that top 5 pick in.

You fuckers need to be 100% on board.

There will be no split mojo in game day chatter on Sunday.

you think this game is a pivot point?

No I just think it's going to be an indication as to whether the Philly/Pittsburgh performances were flukes or if that is going to generally be how they play from here on out.

Given Philly's surprising loss to the Giants and the relatively difficult schedules each of them have the rest of the way, playing like we did against Pittsburgh the rest of the way might win the division.

If we somehow beat Minnesota I think we're like 80% to win the division, it shouldn't happen but you never know.

It could be. We're well-rested, Minny is average at best and coming off a short week, and the crowd won't be a factor. A victory wouldn't surprise me at all.
Dalvin Cook will be a huge test of the recent upswing in run D. Wonder if we can slow him.
