Which is real fuckin' odd given his track record at Ohio State.Yep supposedly that was why Devin Smith was kept deactivated on gamedays because he wasn't as good at ST's

Why I added supposedly, ffs we had a scout as our ST coach because no one wanted to come in for gingers lame duck yearWhich is real fuckin' odd given his track record at Ohio State.
Ventell Bryant, Tavon Austin and Cedrick Wilson
Wut? Our 4th wr absolutely has to contribute to ST'sso none of “our 4th receiver”.

Yea I have serious doubts Dez could play anywhere on ST's now, and having him as our 4th wr so fans can feel good about their fav guy from 5 years ago is everything wrong we're trying to move away fromThey don't have to be good on special teams but they almost always play special teams.
1. Amariso none of “our 4th receiver”.
those names are nothing but 4th receivers.so none of “our 4th receiver”.
Wut? Our 4th wr absolutely has to contribute to ST's
yet none did last year.
No but they played special teams.
A very small percentage of plays each. The point is that it wasn't "#4 receiver" playing special teams all the time. And therefore it's not a valid excuse not to sign Bryant.
Ventell Bryant played a shit ton of special teams snaps.
Wilson and Austin played special teams but Austin was basically just as a returner and Wilson was hurt.
And Ventell Bryant can play them some more, as the 6th or 7th receiver.
The point stands that you don't have to have your "4th receiver" play special teams. If people want to find reasons not to give Dez another shot, special teams isn't it.
Your sixth or seventh WR is rarely active on game day.
Yet Ventell repeatedly was, wasn't he? While Devin Smith never was.
Yeah, so you're suggesting we sign Dez to have him inactive on gamedays?
