You know what I'm tired of seeing? All these bullshit "Cowboys should trade Dak" articles that are popping up everywhere that are clickbait for casuals who know nothing of the kind of salary cap bomb it would set off if it were to happen.

Are you lurking in the slums?

It's funny how many replies are getting stuck on this though. It's by far not the point.

The point here is actually that they aren't that far away from competing for a super bowl but they just flat refuse to spend money. It's frustrating. Gee, I wonder why they can't get over the hump?

Yeah the point is really that we are one of the cheapest teams in the NFL. And the Cowboys know how to work the salary cap to make it look like we just have no money to spend. It's not even that difficult to manipulate. So yes, cheapest team in the NFL and we still had back to back double digit win seasons. Imagine what we could have done had we just splurged a little in free agency and spent the money of a middle level team.

But yeah, Stephen and Jerry will have you think that the cap is real and look, we are over the cap yet again. Just no money here fellas.

Jerry hasnt aged well. He's downright fugly at this point.

he'd look worse without the plastic surgery he had like 20 years ago

Guh I get it but it also sucks eating up 10 mil cap on a RB. Plus whatever we owe on Zeke regardless of cutting him or not.

I can't think of anyone else we would use the franchise tag on this year. Certainly not Schultz or Wilson.
