And Texas Tech pumped out half of that group. Those dudes could run some routes and get open. I'm not sure what it is about the small white slot receiver but it's just a thing.

and you saw what NYG bust like Toney up and did in the big game. It was pretty much the play that sealed the deal. He's definitely not an everydown guy but surely you could work him in on certain packages. The Chiefs have a bunch of small quick guys like McKinnon and Hardman and Toney and make it work. Not that he's as good as those guys, just saying they don't all have to a be 6-2 and 200+ for blocking or whatever.

I don't think he's anywhere close to any of those guys
No, he's not that good, but how can he show any indication when they don't even give him a chance?Yeah, the guy hasn't shown any indication that he has any receiving skills as a pro, much less to be in the conversation with some of the best slot receivers in recent memory.

I don't think anyone is saying he's some starting outside guy, but you could put him in motion or in a bunch formation where you can't bump him. That seems to be the kind of thing other more creative OCs do, but our Garrett 2.0 would rather run a double reverse jap play.
Well he's no Noah Brown, that's for sure.
Here is what you need to do to become Noah Brown. Become best friends with Zeke, have Zeke tell Jerry to draft your boy. Hang around forever because you're probably a good person who is best friends with the Owner's favorite toy.
And yes I know Noah is a good blocker. But shit, a TE could give you about the same receiving ability and is probably a better blocker. Put that guy on the field instead if that's your goal. Hell a TE might be a better receiving option. I think Ferguson is a better pass catcher and probably Hendershot too.
Which reminds me, I'm not sure what the hell I'll do if Dallas brings Zeke back next year. It's just going to be sad and pathetic.
He’s a shifty guy you occasionally try to get into space for a quick hitter. Nothing more.Yeah, the guy hasn't shown any indication that he has any receiving skills as a pro, much less to be in the conversation with some of the best slot receivers in recent memory.
Oh yeah, and Kelvin Joseph can’t be anywhere nearby.
how many targets to Turpin have you seen? Makes it hard to know what the guy can or can't do. Maybe he's got a big bag of nothing, but I contend he hasnt had a shot to show anything. Once we can evaluate him, then maybe he can be a skilled smaller non white receiver.Yeah, the guy hasn't shown any indication that he has any receiving skills as a pro, much less to be in the conversation with some of the best slot receivers in recent memory.

based on that logic, you probably think Tolbert isnt an NFL receiver.I mean presumably the Cowboys coaches are watching him in practice. Obviously they were open to all options last year. Hell Dennis Houston started a game for shits sake. Hilton rolled off the couch and was our second best receiver. Not everyone in this world needs passes in an NFL game to determine if they are an NFL receiver.
