You were so close to dropping an fpickering.
You were so close to dropping an fpickering.
I only do that in extreme situations. You were so close to dropping an fpickering.

Here is how the rest of our draft went with that pass.

Of course you could, it was way better than Goof Son could do on his best day.I could live with that.
Last year was pretty good. Did he have anything to do with that? About as much as he will this year?Of course you could, it was way better than Goof Son could do on his best day.

Or is that not decided until after we see who we draft.
Last year was fine but not great outside of Parsons, which was about the consensus at the time of the draft.
I think last years class is better than you're giving it credit for. And I disagree with us not needing a corner, regardless of the so-called obsession with corners. That is overblown by fans.Last year was fine but not great outside of Parsons, which was about the consensus at the time of the draft. Joseph seemed unnecessary and mostly a function of the front office being obsessed with CB's. He may still turn into a solid contributor but at the time most of us felt that we could've done way better, and looking back, we could have.
And usually with players many of us wanted at the time (Moehrig, Ojulari, etc.).
Odighizuwa was fine, Golston was a slight reach, Wright was a big reach, Cox was considered a steal, and the rest was fine. People were excited about Bohanna just because he was big, and Mukuamu because he was highly touted at one point in his career, but neither were considered game changers.
The 2020 draft was the one that I think people were really excited about, and it turns out with good reason mostly.
I think we did need a corner last year. Looks like it with hindsight, but nobody predicted Anthony Brown to be a competent to good starter the way he was.
Odiggy I think has a chance to be a very good player. He showed the ability last year, he just was forced into playing too many snaps too early and got worn down.
The rest look like decent role players and contributors... except I still really liked Ball's "tape" and think he could be more.

Yeah Brown surprised last year with his play but corner absolutely looked like a need. Diggs wasn't this elite corner on one side at that point. And Brown looked fucking awful.
And honestly if Bossman becomes an upgrade at corner this year, who cares.
Just like WR this year. Aside from Gallup missing the first month or so, we only really need a WR2/3 long term if Lamb/Gallup are your top 2
We could've taken Ojulari, who looks like a pretty legit edge rusher
I mean you're talking about needing a starting WR. That makes it a pretty big need. We don't even have serviceable options there right now. Maybe if we had the WR equivalent of Brown I could agree. But we don't. It's a massive hole that's going to make our offense unwatchable bad right now.
I've been looking at the Oline depth in this class though and I actually like a lot of those guys. If we skip guard in the first it really should be something that can easily be addressed in rounds 2, 3 or even possibly 4.
