2026 Season | Week 3 | Gameday Chatter Thread | Ravens @ Cowboys (Rio) | 09/27/2026

Not that I ever expected much from Von Miller but the young guys (EZ and Lawrence) are creating pressure far more often than he is and I think it's time to consider cutting him or significantly reducing his reps.

I honestly would rather play Houston over Miller at this point and think he should only be playing 5-7 snaps a game at most.

Sunday is usually good for a laugh at the Cowboys expense. Everything and everyone from Stephen O’DonnellJones to Decrepit Jerry to Penhead Schotty….. this team is a joke.

Dak makes terrible mistakes at the worst times, those throws into the end zone at the end never had a chance.

I don't give a fuck about how Garrett acted or whatever, he was a terrible coach and I think Schottenheimer is well on his way to being just as bad. Maybe he turns it around but I'm not optimistic.

The only saving grace is he won't be around for a decade.
And then what? We interview Witten, install him as OC and hire a puppet? Which one next?

A lot of Tomlin rumors this morning, but I'll believe it when I see it. I don't even know if it's desirable considering his age and playoff struggles.
At least he's a serious coach who got to multiple Super Bowls.

If anything, he'd improve the locker room culture, but he would definitely need some top assistants on each side of the ball.

After sleeping on it, I feel better about this team. Still pissed about the last 30 seconds of the game.

Yes Schotty was incompetent and is ultimately responsible for the loss.

I was asking too much of Dak. In my mind, we’re paying him Mahomes money and Mahomes wouldn’t let that shit happen no matter what the coach was doing. Instead of dilly dicking around, he would have called the timeout earlier, IMO. He also would not have thrown the ball out of bounds as soon as his back foot hit the ground. He would have at least thrown to the pylon and gave an open Pickens a chance.

Maybe I’m wrong on this but I think he’s been in the league long enough to make an executive decision.

Meh, he's better than Schottenheimer but I'd rather roll the dice on a young coordinator being the next Macdonald or what have you.

I think he's fine but like Harbaugh I think his reputation precedes him at this point.

Has anyone seen any updates?

Cowboys executive VP Stephen Jones told 105.3 The Fan (KRLD-FM) that safety Jalen Thompson is expected to be out for "at least four weeks," meaning a stint on the injured reserve could be in Thompson's future.
