Washington blew 9th inning leads on back to back nights, both with 2 outs and 2 strikes on the batter.

I'm genuinely curious. Why was he never prosecuted for this? If he flat out admitted it, he should be in prison, right?
 
I never even heard that.

And "I thought she was 16" is a helluva defense. :doh

I dont know but I think that the way he said that and so openly that the age of consent at the time and place was 16. If it wasnt its hard to believe that it wouldn't have been pursued by the courts.

Yeah, I think he claimed she was the age of consent in Ohio (16), but she apparently claimed that she was 14-15 at the time.

I think it was also 40 or so years prior when it came up.

I dont know. At least with a disaster you arent teased with the inability to ever get over .500 and have a division that nobody wants so you could easily make the playoffs.
