Well, I do know the very first pitch in which the speed was ever recorded was thrown 83.2 MPH. So, suck on that, fuckers!

Was watching rain-delayed golf and that's the only reason I saw that NBC was carrying MLB again? Had no idea.:lol

Also, it says they have two color analysts... One from Boston perspective and one Yankees perspective. Really? Never heard of that before.

I don't think I like that. I would have to think about it and watch a game with them doing that to be positive I hate it. But, I'm not sure how I feel about it. My first inclination is hate it. Did you watch the game?

No, it's still on... Was just third inning. Only saw that when I was looking up NBC starting MLB again this year.

Cool, I may turn it on once I finish this documentary with cool baseball trivia in it.
 
This is a really good baseball doc. You guys may have already seen it. I had not. It was released in 2016. It's called Fastball. Very good documentary. Very well done.
 
Just as we were talking good about Langford he went on the 10 day IL today. :budd
 


And, now they will lose 3 in a row. We have read this book many times.

Bats are coming alive. A month ago, they only had 2 guys batting over .250.

And, it was announced today that Nimmo went on the 10 day IL today because of an injury he sustained when he ran into the wall catching a ball. I watched the game. He was fully extended and his arm pit basically hit the wall first. It looked like it hurt like hell.

So, in the last month it has been Langford, Seager, Nimmo, Carter and Freeman all going on IL. All during the best stretch of the season so far for us.

He was out for that for two weeks earlier in the season with back issues. If that continues he won't be able to swing the bat worth a shit for fear of hurting himself again, or simply from the pain.
