It's not excuse for Dak. But the easiest way to help Dak when he gets the yips in a big game is to have a running game that can get first downs. Did any defense the entire year fear our run game? Our run game was just so inconsistent. Maybe they get a 7 yard gain but then on the next run they would lose a yard. And again, no pass for Pollard but I don't think it was just our RBs at fault, although they were part of the problem.
That was not the big game to attempt that …The offensive game plan sucked from to stem to stern. The Packs D is the worst in the NFL on 1st down passing .. and what did we do ??? We came out running on 1st down even down 7-0 .. clue #1 Fat Mike had no idea what da fuck was doing.

I'm not saying we should have attempted it against the Packers. You can't fix that shit after 17 regular season games, with the same coaches and players.

What I'm saying is in the offseason you make it a priority by getting better RBs for it, better Olineman for it and number 1, a better Oline coach. The problem wasn't that we didn't try to run the ball. The problem was we sucked when we tried to run the ball.

Which we knew would be an issue going into the season, hell going into the draft. Just like we knew that if LVE went down, we had zero real linebacker depth.

Run the ball. Stop the run. With this QB in the post-season, it's your only hope.

Fat Mike....best winning percentage in the regular season in Cowboys history.

Enjoy the regular season, guys.

Playoffs? Playoffs? /Mora :lol

Who gives a fuck about the playoffs? AMIRITE?

Also about to be salary cap fucked.

50-55 mil per year to Dak

What's Lamb get? 30-35?

Parsons? 40-45?

I don't even give a shit about Belichick.

This will go down as one of the biggest mistakes Jerry ever makes....Jim Harbaugh was available and he passed.

I mean this is really why you have to figure something out with Dak. If you extend him his cap numbers won't be 50-55. Lamb's contract won't be 30-35 until the backend. Everyone takes the average over the length of the contract but most of these things are designed for very low upfront cap hits. Of course that's how you end up with Dak counting 60 mil against our cap next year. You basically end up with a balloon hit at the end.

I just wish Dak would realize he's just not a big time playoff QB, take one for the team and retire.

It's time bro, you tried, you failed at QB in the harshest of spotlights in Big D. You're not the only one.

Yeah, that's not happening. Your best hope is that he gets hurt and someone like Trey Lance or a draft pick steps in and shines. But by then you'll be financially tied to Dak and then it becomes difficult. And let's face it, we won't use a serious draft pick. We aren't going to draft JJ McCarthy or something like that. Instead we might piss around in the fourth/fifth round again.

The worst part about the Packers game is it was just a total and complete failure. It's not like a stellar QB was pulling that game out. Our defense totally collapsed. So you're left with this shit sandwich of needing to fix more then just one or two things. Or you have to admit that the team was talented enough but the coaches just sucked a giant dick.

Defensive collapse is on Quinn, but why couldn't the offense turn it into a shootout? Why? Because Dak sucked a giant dick personally. So many breakdowns I watched that had Turd or Lamb open and he just panicked or played safe and generally fucked everything up.

Nobody is this retarded. I mean, come on now. You obviously have to be trying to even say something this fucking stupid.

I mean we never stopped the Packers. It was just TD after TD after TD. It's not like we were even holding them to field goals. I'm not removing blame from the offense but that was an all timer bad defensive performance. The Packers probably could have scored even more if they hadn't sort of turned to just running the clock in the fourth quarter. Basically the offense started out slow. Hell just give us a half of good defense. You know Tom Brady once trailed by 20+ in the Superbowl. But you know what happened? The defense got stops after that and Brady came alive. This defense just continued to tail spin.

But yes, I would have loved to see the offense come out and have all time great performance. But that's what it would have taken to make this thing even close. Unfortunately for our offense the Packers defense didn't just decide to not defend the run or the pass.

How about hoping for a career ending injury then to get rid of this choker? I was just trying to be nice.

It's sad to say and I don't even like saying it but you're right. Maybe the best thing that could happen would be if Lance were forced to play and actually looked really good and won games. It would reflect well on the coaches, show Jerry that life could go on without Dak, and maybe show a way out without paying Dak a fortune.

It didn't require an all time great offensive performance, let's not be melodramatic.

How about just keep the team in the game?

Two TDs in the first half, plus don't throw a pick 6 and suddenly it's 20-14 at halftime and we get the ball to start the second half.

I mean that's a reasonable expectation for the offense right? That's not an all timer performance, that should be the minimal expectation.

Let's not overstate what we needed from the offense just because the defense was also dog shit.

It has been asked after every game where we got blown out.....why couldn't the offense do anything on a day when the D was being destroyed?

I don't feel it is too much to ask a so called elite QB (paycheck wise anyway) to keep you in the game.
