Yep, Parsons can literally rush from anywhere and that is a big part of what makes him so dangerous.
His ability as a blitzer and even occasionally lining up directly over the C/G helped cover for the lack of pass rush from any DT not named Osa last year.

Micah said they're still going to move him around and blitz him from different angles. He was basically a full time edge rusher last year so I don't think anything is changing.

He’s coming up on a healthy contract soon. Wear and tear be damned.

Jerry couldn’t wait to hand Jaylon a fat contract. Probably much more so with his best DE not named DWare or Haley.

I mean I'm not worried about giving Parsons an extension. The sooner the cheaper the extension will be. I'm sure the contract will be cap friendly for the first fee years and then we will restructure, restructure, restructure and keep him in Dallas for life.

Lawrence is close to the end in maybe the next 2 seasons , relief will come there somewhat.
 


There's no way we can go into 2024 with Dak counting $60M against the cap so I think an extension is inevitable there. I'm sure at least one of Diggs or Lamb gets done in the next few months too, if not both.

I'm sure they want to get these big ticket guys squared away so that they know what they have available to re-sign guys like Steele, Armstrong, Biadasz, Pollard and Kearse.

Not saying we'll re-sign all of them but probably at least 3.
