The more young healthy people get it the better and the closer we get to herd immunity. It is not that bad on otherwise healthy people. My wife and daughter both had it and were not that bad. I think I had it also since I was sick at the same time but my test came back negative. I will get an antibody test in the near future to confirm. Older people and people with underlying conditions definitely need to take precautions and likely need to stay self quarantined. The fact that this is an election year combined with the mainstream media giving up all credibility in the name of "take out Trump at all cost the truth be damned" lead to mass hysteria for a disease that is not anywhere close to being as bad as advertised.

Funny thing it’s treated as one all over the world... I guess it’s all about those overseas votes...

If you look, you’ll see/hear dissenting opinions on this virus from scientists, they just don’t get asked on CNN or ABC and the likes, kinda like scientists that say climate change is real, but not the threat that politicians have made it out to be.

It’s almost like the left has an interest in dragging this shit out and pumping fear into the masses.

It’s hilarious the reaction you get from someone when you tell them the opposite of what they know when they watch CNN religiously.

My wife’s uncle isn’t freaked out about the virus, but he was telling me how deaths are spiraling out of control. I asked him where he heard that, the death part, and he legit said that CASES are on the rise, so that must mean deaths are too.

Watch Kayleigh M’s press briefing from today. Some idiot asks about the President downplaying the virus. “She showed a chart of what the President sees as good news, death rate plummeting as testing/cases increase.

Funny, no pushback whatsoever. No “yeah but this or that”. Just silence and moving on. Like they didn’t hear it or didn’t know it.

Of course they know it, but fear drives ratings.

I think you answered it, it's more Trump hate. They love talking about how many cases we have so they can try to pin it on him. How many times have we read on Twitter about how 120k deaths are on his hands (how many deaths from this do they expect, zero?), or how we've handled it worse than any other country (not supported by the deaths per million at all), etc.?

As far as the bigger agenda, I wonder that also. I think part of it is the companies are bought off by China in some way. But I think even more than that it's simply wanting to be accepted at their next cocktail party. All of their "elite" peers hate Trump so they must also. I've always thought the bigwigs were more like the average joe in that regard than people realize -- they want to be accepted and liked by their friends and peers just as much as Joe Six Pack.

This is exactly right. It's not just about Trump, it about gaining power for government. Right now they basically have endless power to do what they want under the cause of COVID-19!!!!

And we let them have that power way too easily. If you all will remember, at the very start of all of this I shouted about liberties being taken away and what that could lead to. And, look now, even with the death rates plummeting they still want to control your movements and behaviors. This is just the beginning and will only get worse the more rope we give them. We cannot allow this to happen or it will just get worse the next time or even this time, ffs.
