How is it not?
Social media is a platform.
TV is a broadcast.
TV gives you content. You don't have a voice.
Social media, you are the content. You are the voice.
How is it not?
NPR is far from unbiased.
Where did I say that?Uhh, if you're trying to imply there isn't bias in the media, you might want to log off.
Very true.I honestly think that anyone who hopes for a fair and unbiased media in today's world is wasting their time.
Yeah its never going to happen. Makes watching news unbearable to me because every station is obnoxious with their reporting.Where did I say that?
Some of you want some "unbiased" media that doesn't exist.
I threw out NPR as about as close to that, you say it isn't.
I honestly think that anyone who hopes for a fair and unbiased media in today's world is wasting their time.
Maybe but that doesn’t mean it’s fair or right.Where did I say that?

So I take it you are very against Net Neutrality then. That still should not mean they want government intervention.
It is annoying but if you can't filter it for yourself and want the government to do it, you are a fucking moron incapable of thinking for yourself.
That means that person wants a peaceful, non-biased world that frankly cannot exist with the amount of information that is available and the number of outlets ready to distribute it.
Uh.... seems like this means they don’t want the government filtering anything, it’s that they want no one filtering anything. Kinda a dumb point there. You may have an argument but that’s certainly not it.That still should not mean they want government intervention.

I dont watch the news. Ever.Yeah its never going to happen. Makes watching news unbearable to me because every station is obnoxious with their reporting.
Twitter, Facebook etc are private platforms.
Don't like it, don't use it. It is just like a TV channel.
Yes, and I’m not either. Is this an executive order? If so, not a fan.
In an interview with Fox News, Zuckerberg was asked about Twitter’s new fact check policy. He told Dana Perino that ‘I just believe strongly that Facebook shouldn’t be the arbiter of truth of everything that people say online.’
They literally censor and take down posts they don't deem factual.
What a load of bullshit. Facebook has been censoring hard over the last couple years.
They’re expressing an opinion every time they pull a video or statement down. Not sure of the details, but they're currently shielded from liability because they're just a platform for expression. They claim they don't express views themselves.
But if they start expressing opinions, which they obviously are now, they could have that protection removed. I believe that's what his order would/might do.
