I love that movie. Cracks me up everytime

Probably my favorite scene:

We watch it every Christmas. It has become a family tradition.

Yeah. He is only fan of one type of Sean Connery and you dont want to see that.

Ok, I've got to ask, which one?

I have never watched a single James Bond movie.
Odd. But I will not judge you.

They never struck me either, especially the Roger Moore ones.

Connery is worth the investment.

Anyway, I noticed a menorah in Elf in the background of one of the scenes. That makes it a Hanukah movie if we're using the Die Hard criteria.

Why not? I'm no movie buff but even I like those. They're mostly pretty great.

Just never did when I was a kid. And over the years, since I had never seen any of the earlier ones, never thought twice about going to see a franchise movie that I didn't really know much about. Outside of it being a British spy type movie.

One day I'll probably get around to watching them.

They're good. The Roger Moore ones can get a little silly at times, but to me the newer ones with the blond guy went too far the other way and are so serious they aren't any fun.
