I mean, our game vs the 49ers was largely one-sided so I think Deebo is overrating his team a bit.

If not for Dak literally playing the worst game of his life, we win that game comfortably.

His 2 picks where the only reason why the 49ers even had points for the first 40 or so minutes of the game.

We should have won that game and should have done so by 2 scores then gone on to Philly.
Until they give the Niners a real beat down, the Cowboys are the 49’ers bitches no matter how many excuses or “if that’s” or “could haves” we all make up in our minds. They beat our asses with a Playboy QB and a little rookie QB back to back, and that’s not even bringing up the fact Shanahan ate Meatball and Coach Sonny Jrs lunch both times.
We don’t even belong in the same conversation as the Niners right now. Fucking embarrassing.

Both were one score losses, so 'bitches' is a little strong. Bragging rights, sure. They won, twice, but it's not like the games were non-competitive.

Sometimes a team is just a bad matchup. It's fair to say their defense stumps us every time right now.

The fact that they were one score losses when we had arguably the best offense in the league makes it even worse.
Then, the icing on the cake was the rookie beating what was supposedly our best D in decades AND our staff having a whole year to figure out Shanahan and their D.
Seeing the Philly D basically sell out to knock Purdy from the game was brilliance on the Eagles part. It’s obvious someone on that team actually studied how to put the game away quickly.

So yeah, I’ll stick with “bitches”.

That's the thing, though.....they didn't really stump us in that game.

Dak just froze up and just couldn't function much after the 2nd pick.

But we were moving the ball fairly well till about the middle of the 3rd quarter. We were the better team that day and we came out playing well on both sides of the ball.

You'll never convince me that with solid QB play that day, we don't win that game by 2 scores.

Honestly everything looked good until Pollard got hurt. If Pollard doesn't get hurt I feel confident in saying we beat the 49ers.

I'm not trying to throw dirt on a player who is already in the grave but Zeke was a negative to our offense against the 49ers. Running with him actually put our offense in worse situations than if we had just not run it at all. It threw everything into a horrible funk and especially Dak.

Also, the Eagles got very lucky vs Purdy and the 49ers.

That early long ball out of bounds didn't even get reviewed, then a total fluke hit to Purdy's elbow knocked out their entire ability to make a forward pass after their other QB got knocked out.

Eagles might have won anyway, but there's no way it's a 31-7 final without that elbow injury.

Last, we had a good defense statistically, but it was flawed in that it over-relied on Micah Parsons to make plays without much help up front. The defensive effort in the face of Dak's idiocy was heroic, stopping the 49ers multiple times from scoring after they advanced past midfield.

Our problem is building a team that can last deep into the playoffs without breaking down from injuries when things get tough.

Our 1A running back who we had to depend on half that game was completely finished, something the rest of the league (and most of us) knew but Jerry was too stubborn to admit.

Can't argue this.

It's been close to 30 years since they last won a ring as well, but they're at least making trips to the NFCCG and Super Bowl.

I was reading through the comments of an article after the schedule dropped and there were quite a few Eagle fans who were pretty adamant that Purdy's injury didn't matter much.

So they're looking forward to proving that beatdown wasn't a fluke.
