Yes I will admit to being a hardcore OU fan. The point I was attempting to make is you can’t always determine from a young players starting role as to how things will possibly turn out. I used Aikman as an example that a players start isnt always an indication of how things might turn out. Aikman is rightly revered as a player who accomplished an envious career but his start wasn’t very good. Had he been judged by that it would have identified as one who wasn’t going to have a great career. it might be that Hurts could end up with a good career as well but in my view it’s too son to write him off as a player. Or stated another way, Aikman was surely destined to fail because of his early starts.
