He also doesn't appear to be the same player he was in his prime, and he's now 30.

Given those circumstances I would think a smart team would call Roseman's bluff.

They tried to trade up to 3 apparently?
It first came out that they did, per Rapoport.

They he deleted the Tweet and posted a revision that said that the Eagles felt that trading back was best for them.

They are playing a stupid little game with the QB position.

They know that if they are wrong, they are fucked by hitching their wagon to Hurts.

I mean really. Imagine if this were us.

Would you feel okay with just having Hurts as your QB and then signing Flacco?

They are gambling right now that Miami's pick in 2022 is high and crossing their fingers on Hurts.
