This talk about penalties reminded me of a game where Greg Ellis was called for roughing the QB after his thumb barely grazed the QB's helmet.

It was one of the weakest calls I've ever seen against a QB not named Brady. I saw the replay and was livid.

Right up there with the Washington game back in '06 I think where the player "ran through the hold".

That one always sticks in my head as particularly ridiculous. They should have just made the wave-off motion or made up something else instead of admitting that.
