Yeah we see that very differently, didn't look like he beat him clean at all. And 9/10 times the QB can easily avoid that. Looked like some Taco level skill to me. He barely clipped his arm and mostly ran straight upfield.I like Burch a lot too, they're similar players and I'd love Burch in the 2nd, but Williams is a better physical talent and will likely be the better player. I watched the whole Burch video and I didn't see a single play as impressive as what Williams did to Banks.
This is the biggest question. Do they think any of these guys are worth 12?My biggest question is how do they view the various DT's like Harmon, Grant and Nolen?
I mean it's literally what we drafted Kneeland forIf not, I could see them taking a popular choice like Williams-- not in the interior-- but as a Tank replacement to complement 11.
Think you're just looking for things to nitpick at this point.Yeah we see that very differently, didn't look like he beat him clean at all. And 9/10 times the QB can easily avoid that. Looked like some Taco level skill to me. He barely clipped his arm and mostly ran straight upfield.
I don't disagree he will go top 15, but I wouldn't do it. I wouldn't with Burch either. My point is simply I think Burch looks a little better and he is going second round probably.
It is a strange pairing. What a weird backup to Lamar... a guy who can't move?
Yea they're polar opposites, would have to change the structure of their whole offense if Rush had to start a few games. What a weird backup to Lamar... a guy who can't move?
And if we draft him I'll hope we can coach the hell out of him. But I see no pass rush skill at all. I don't see a quick first step. I see a physical guy who can move well and just tries to rush right through guys and the vast majority of plays he makes he is barely blocked or he is beating a RB trying to pick him up or he is the second or third guy there just cleaning it up.Think you're just looking for things to nitpick at this point.
In the video you posted he damn near got his hand on the QB's shoulder, you're acting like Banks drove him past the pocket and Williams got lucky to tap the ball as he flew by. He got to Banks' upfield shoulder, flattened a bit and went straight for the ball.
Sure the QB could've ran escaped to his left but that's what happens when your DE is attacking upfield, it's on the DT or an LB to maintain those interior rush lanes from being wide open.
Bring Amari home.
He did nothing wrong.
Wonder which former team. Browns? Or Bills? Would be weird for it to be the Cowboys or Raiders. And I kind of wonder why? Dude was extremely productive until last season. Still only 30 years old. Amari has never really gotten the praise in the NFL for just how good he is.
You are right of course though Kneeland lacks the quicknessI mean it's literally what we drafted Kneeland for
