But they love Kobe Bryant and he was cut from the exact same cloth as MJ.They likely think Michael Jordan is just an old who doesn't understand and wouldn't succeed today.
I mean, that's like ancient history, bruh.
We also can't franchise him because it's in his contract.
The Cowboys don’t have a decision to make about their franchise QB: It’s Dak Prescottmoving forward, following one of the best statistical years of his career. But his contract is another story.
With one year left at $34 million, the issue isn’t just that Prescott is underpaid. It’s also that, because of the way the contract was set up, his cap number in 2024 is set to be nearly $60 million, and the Cowboys can’t franchise him in 2025 because the number would be astronomical.
In other words, Dallas should be highly motivated to do a new contract before free agency. Expect the two sides to get together in the weeks following the Super Bowl and start working. Prescott should once again be one of the highest-paid -- if not the highest-paid -- quarterbacks in the NFL, with the Cowboys gaining valuable cap room to operate in free agency if they do a deal.
I think he has a non-franchise tag clause in his current contract anyway. We also can't franchise him because it's in his contract.
That's what I was saying. So the article saying the franchise tag is too expensive is a moot point. Couldn't even if we wanted to.I think he has a non-franchise tag clause in his current contract anyway.
Sure he can. Just watch.A playoff shitting the bed QB cannot be the highest paid player in the sport. Just can't.

Yep. It is inevitable. He is a bank, just like Romo.Sure he can. Just watch.

Wait…so they are going to decide to step up now? Is this like a New Year’s Resolution? The same guys will be doing the exact same things they always have. And they might get tired next year too.![]()
Micah Parsons: 'I want to change the culture' of Cowboys in 2024
Micah Parsons took his show on the road for Super Bowl Week, and his latest guest turned the tables on the host with a probing question of his own. In a new episode of Bleacher Report's The Edge with Micah Parsons from Radiocowboyswire.usatoday.com

Well put. They are walking and talking (a lot) contradictions to the very things that are wrong. The article astutely points out that they the talked about discipline for penalties, and yet they were the 3rd and 4th most penalized players on the team.
On top of Micah talking about off the field distractions. On a podcast that he hosts, including during the season.
When your top players are the most undisciplined, it's hard for the rest of the team to fall in line.
I hope these guys get some self awareness and do some man in the mirror work of their own.
I’m sure PT Barnum encourages the players to market themselves.Well put. They are walking and talking (a lot) contradictions to the very things that are wrong.
Pollard needs to return to the role he had 2 years ago. What he was last year wasn't worth 5 mil. So the question is, does a complimentary RB who is really good in that role, quantify 5 mil? I have a hard time thinking it's financially worth it. If we bring Pollard back RB is still a major priority. Or at least it needs to be.It's not a RB thing so much as a Pollard thing.
