Have you seen who the Niners have replaced on their DL? I am not impressed. The fact the 49ers wanted him makes me feel slightly better that he isn't washed up.

Niners didn’t need a star at LB since they already have a solid cast. We have next to nothing.
32 years old, but I’m guessing Zimmer trusts him to run the D so it’s not a total fail signing.
Well, it is a start I guess. They better fuckin get busy at RB and DL
Eatman said that Jerry and Stephen are "all in" on getting out from all the "dead money" that is on the books for this year and next... which is why they're not re-doing any contracts to free up cap space. So, it'll be all about the draft this year and next. Prolly why McCarthy was retained too.
This tells you Quinn wanted Wagner 2 or 3 years ago in Dallas and was told no.
True. Probably insurance so they don’t have to rush him back. I saw where they expect him back by week one but I don’t see him being 100%.SF probably won't have Greenlaw most or all of the year so they definitely have a pretty big need there.
Must not want to win.Stole one from the Niners . How fucking weird.

What do they want to clear out dead money for? There's enough guys left that they could easily put together a very strong FA class that addresses the DL and RB.Good signing at a position that is a need. It’s a start.
