His Hawaiian roots undoubtedly sparked his interest in Notre Dame
Does Notre Dame have some special relationship with Hawaii?

Not that I'm aware of.

Yeah if you nailed those three it's a great draft. Anything after that is just a bonus. If you get 2 to 3 really good starters out of a draft that's great. I'm not talking Tyler Biadasz starters but really good ones. That's very unlikely to be true. The success of failure of the draft depends way more on the top 3 picks.
So does Utah, BYU, Washington, UCLA, USC.Aloha, Irish: Notre Dame-Hawaii Pipeline Continues to Grow

This guy looks real fucking small to me.
That and the glasses thing, not digging it.This guy looks real fucking small to me.
Nerdy we need that. That and the glasses thing, not digging it.
I thought the same thing watching the interviews. He almost looks like a safety. This guy looks real fucking small to me.
Well, as they say: "It's not the size of the dog...".This guy looks real fucking small to me.
I'm of the mind most NFL linebackers need to be about 235 pounds and great quicknessWell, as they say: "It's not the size of the dog...".
He's the same H/W as Clark, and bigger than Overshown and Kendricks... he's only 5 lbs. lighter than Parsons.
In all honesty, it could be the pick that completely wrecked the season. Good RB sitting there for us to take after a no show in FA, and we take this guy. Notice how GB IMMEDIATELY, must have ran the card picking Lloyd to the NFL, as soon as we picked Loofa.Eww, watched this guy’s Louisville highlights and was completely unimpressed. Slow to recognize, cheats to the LOS pre-snap, finds himself out of position, and to top it off is a long strider.
It’s one thing to run a cone drill, but in real action with bodies flying around this guy looked tentative and often lost in the wash.
Maybe that was his worst game? Gotta think Dallas’ scouts (who are decent) saw something here…

He does seem suited to that role.I have mentioned it before, but I have a feeling people are assuming he will be an all-around LB.
From the looks of things, he will be used as a rusher a lot. Zimmer is tipping his hand a little.
"Number one, he's brilliant. He catches on really quick. He wants to be so good and so intense that he's almost too much at it right now. The other thing is I think he's a really good pressure player and I think having that with (Micah) Parsons and another pressure player that is a linebacker or he can move somewhere else and Parsons can move somewhere else. I think those pieces add to confusion for the offense, plus he's a really good rusher. "

But Ernie or someone was saying he's the next Fred Warner.I have mentioned it before, but I have a feeling people are assuming he will be an all-around LB.
