They took them lightly, got thoroughly out coached, were anxious and pressing from the opening whistle yet somehow still came out sloppy, so on and so forth.

Love played great and was extremely accurate, most likely an outlier game, but the other stuff was more of an issue.

My biggest issue is the team looked scared of disappointing and panicked as soon as they went down. The mentality of the team was fucked and McCarthy didn't have them ready to play at all.
That and McCarthys teams play well against the east but when good teams show up to play we are not ready to play

I disagree. It's not Jerry's fault (and he has a lot of faults) that this team comes out flat in big games, in playoff games they should win.

We just out talent teams for the most part. When we go against teams with more talent we get our ass kicked. That's coaching.

We have more talent than Green Bay. We just got outcoached on both sides of the ball. Badly. That's on McCarty and Quinn. Bad schemes, bad playcalling, team not prepared at all, etc. That's not Jerry's fault today other than he hired these fucks.
No, it is Jerry’s fault for all that.

We overrate our talent. Our QB is a loser who comes up small against big competition. All the time.

Jerry creates the sideshow atmosphere that hurts all his coaches.

This “out coaching” thing has been our excuse for 30 years. They all just suck for some reason. Even if that’s the case maybe it’s time to fire the guy picking the coaches.

When your qb has zero yards passing in the 1st quarter, probably takes a lot of the air out of your sails.
Trying to parse out blame is useless, the entire team played like shit, nobody was ready to play, they were out coached in every facet of the game, and that's it.

Case in point, right after the first Prescott INT a holding pushed Green Bay back to 1st and goal on the 16, first play was an immediate big play right down to the 2, next play was a TD.

It was putrid up and down the roster and coaching staff in every imaginable way throughout the entire game, more or less.

The defense sucked for sure, I just don't think they have much faith in him being able to lead them in big games. Wheels fell off pretty quickly. As they tend to do in our bigger losses.

Of course its a circus. McCarthy has absolutely made it at least seem less Ike a circus, brought some consistency. But he definitely doesn't get his team up for big games and definitely has trouble beating teams with more talent on paper. Good coaches in the NFL can do that. That's on him, not Jerry.

Jerry sucks, but you can't just blame him for every single thing bad that happens.

I'm just talking about motivating your team to play a big game. That's it. How is that Jerry's fault?
Jerry is responsible for the circus, dummy.

McCarthy is a dud, his scheming has been mediocre at best, his game management down the stretch in games has been shit, and he can’t motivate the team in big games.

He is better than Garrett was but that’s not good enough. Fat boy has got to go.
Coach sucks despite being great elsewhere. Nothing to see here, don’t look at the man behind the curtain. Next coach!

I’m actually struggling to even strategize about what should happen next with this squad.

It’s like, what changes if anything changes? Nothing really. There’s no way we’ve managed to draft and sign players and coaches over the last 15-20 years that just do the same things in the playoffs no matter what.

It’s the franchise and how they operate. No coach or cluster of players is going to
change the issues with that team.
They should replace the GM.

Failing that the next most impactful thing would be to fire the QB into the sun.

You replace the coach and you’ll be worse for it. Belichick is probably not an upgrade at this point.

Whatever happened today, CeeDee Lamb knew it was happening from the first drive.

In my Dak hating mind, I believe CeeDee told Dak to get his head out of his ass because he knew Arizon/SF Dak had entered the chat.

It’s weird that it took only one pass for them to start chirping at each other. I wonder if CeeDee can sense that shit days earlier. Like Dak starts acting a certain way. Or maybe it’s like that precursor to a seizure that people get where they know one is coming before it does and they have time to put on a helmet or lay down.

We all tried to tell you earlier that history shows us that the Cowboys and especially Dak would gag once again in the playoffs, but you were a dumb simpleton and argued against it. Unfortunately we were all correct, as it was an easy prediction and bet, and they came through, And now after your comment of “we’ll see”, you have to eat a large amount of crow.

Was McCarthy ever great though? Or did he just win because he had an all timer at QB? Seems to be the latter.

We got the best version of Green Bay to be sure. They like the Rams peaked at the end of the season and came into the playoffs hot. But the much better coached Lions stepped up to the challenge while the inadequately coached Cowboys folded. I don’t see how Bellichick would not be a major upgrade.
Because you are thinking about BB from a decade ago.

He didn’t do shit in New England in a long time. Awful at personnel, the team laid down and died all year. Hasn’t been competitive on either side of the ball in a long time. Dude has lost his fastball.

He might not be awful but anyone expecting him to come in and get this team over the hump is deluding themselves.

There isn’t an available coach Jerry can pick who can fix this mess (his mess).

Besides the GM creates atmosphere of losing the biggest problem is the loser QB.

That is an amazing observation.

He was as good as anything we are gonna get at least. I think yes he was genuinely a top coach.

Jerry Richardson, Jon Gruden-type scandal is our only hope.
