This raises some good points re: the oline. Steele had a far better day, although he did take a whoopin that first red zone attempt/fail. Then there was Biadasz getting abused on the Dak beauty to Cooks. Overall a clean pocket and open running lanes.

I worry that the opponent had a lot to do with that. I want to see it week after week

NFL Research: CeeDee Lamb is the first WR to have 10+ receptions, 150+ receiving yards, 1 receiving TD and 1 rush TD in a single game since at least 1950.

The fact that he has more than Coop is mind blowing.
I mean I still think the guy sucks. All I can assume is that the last two weeks have been a freakish fluke. I honestly didn't watch the Texans game, nor do I care enough to watch it. But I just can't imagine how this guy could get separation unless these are just blown coverages in some capacity. Cooper and Lamb I get. Those guys are beasts. They are athletic, they run great routes, they have great hands. Noah, I'm like well he has good size. He is slow and unathletic. He can make a tough catch here or there and then drop the easy catches.

Kind of crazy considering he really didn't blow past anyone. He had a little separation on the TD but the coverage wasn't that bad. He just made 2 really good contested catches yesterday against scrubs. I don't want to minimize but his catches were sort of the type he has always made.

Back to Dowdle. Not saying he runs as “angry” as Barber but let me ask you this. On the first drive when Pollard got stuffed at the goal line, does Dowdle take that in?

I’m not sure which is why I’m asking others’ opinion.

He definitely runs more angry than Pollard. I also saw some flashes with Pollard yesterday that I hadn't seen much of this year. Not saying he was great, and the stats don't show it. But there was also like a 15 yard run called back for holding that looked really good and explosive. I think seeing more Dowdle really benefits Pollard. I think in that 10-15 range Pollard has some special explosive ability that can be taken advantage of. When he is carrying too much weight he just doesn't make the explosive plays. He just physically looks worn down. I didn't think he looked worn down yesterday. The last 3 games he has been in that 10-15 carry range. I really think we need to keep him there and maybe by the end of the season he will look fresh.

Conversely, Deuce is swallowed up by an army of tacklers every time he sees action. :lol

Another observation while watching the highlights and saw the Giants first TD. Dude is dancing in the end zone like an idiot. Like look at the scoreboard dumbass!

If I’m the coach, I’m making an example of him in the next practice.

It's hard to say because some of it is a result of vision, or acceleration, or patience, or getting lower, or even going up and over, as opposed to just simple toughness.

I actually wonder more what Leupke might have done.

Yeah it's weird. I can't really get a gauge on it unless teams are guessing our tendencies when he's in there. Or maybe he is just slow to the hole.

I'd like to see more attempts from him and see what happens though. It's a shame because yesterday would have been ideal. We saw on the pass play he definitely has ability in space.

There's still part of me that wonders if he can become a big threat for us if we can figure out how to unlock it.

They also did it on the Rush INT and that is just a loser mentality to me.

I watched the game with a diehard Giants fan that is recovering from a big heart attack. Poor guy. It felt wrong to celebrate.
