Pretty sweet passes from Hooker at 1:12 and 1:43, too.

Not that we have a QB with the arm strength or arm talent to get him the ball deep..
That deep throw to Hilton had arm. Maybe if Gallup and Noah Brown weren't our deep threat options. Dak has plenty of arm but you don't need a rocket to throw deep. You just need speed and a coach to call it.

How can you pay him like pretending he will be exactly the same returning off his injury?
The whole Gallup thing has me a little freaked out paying the guy like he will just automatically be the same. A year later resigning a hurt Gallup looks pretty dumb.

A high ankle sprain isn't like a blown out ACL...

Ligament damage and broken bone is worrisome.
Eh, the broken bone is just a small fracture on a non-weight bearing bone that didn't need surgery. It will heal back on its own stronger than before.

And all high ankle sprains are some ligament damage, but I don't remember ever hearing about a player being permanently damaged by one.

This isn't to say I wouldn't bring Pollard back, but the price I'm willing to pay has probably gone down. These season ending injuries at the end of the season just freak me out a little. And in all honesty it's mostly because of Gallup and the way he played this season. He just wasn't good.

I don't think Pollard would turn to shit necessarily. But the guy was super explosive this past year. I worry that the recovery could take time and that he might has a loss of some of that explosion at least for awhile.

Ouch. Harsh.
That's a stupid comp. Roy Williams was a pretty big dude and a long strider. Hyatt is a skinny speedster. Dude is like 185 pounds. And has speed that reminds me almost of a DeSean Jackson type the way he blows past people. Roy Williams was like 6'3" 215 pounds but fast for his size. Just a lazy mentally soft dude.

Some people make comps that just make no sense. Now you want to throw Fuller out as a comp and I might get it. Better hands but I could see it. And hopefully not as physically fragile.

So watching those highlights I definitely see the Roy Williams stride and body comparisons.

But I don't think that means he will be Roy Williams.

And also Roy Williams was pretty good for a while.

Yeah, just physically built so much different. You're talking 6 foot 185 pounds vs. 6'3" 215 pounds. Usually if you're going to make a comp you'll have at least similar builds.

But I also agree, Roy Williams was a freak in college. He had a 1300 yard season with the Lions. He was a legit receiver until he went to the Cowboys, got paid and went to shit. I think he was just a mentally fragile dude who got lazy once he got paid.

No kidding. I guess the "comp" is that they both wore #11.

They are different sizes but just watching the tape I can see the comparison.

They move similarly and are shaped similarly, the lesser weight Hyatt has is still distributed similarly over his lesser frame. I can see what the guy means. Hyatt looks long and like he has long strides.

He's not a jitterbug like DeSean Jackson is.
