What signing his old ass back again after he got the back of his ankle cleaned out?
He only got one more chance with GB cause AR insisted

No RB is a top 10 prospect. At least they shouldn't be. What you mean is that getting the next Zeke at 26 is a bargain. I don't necessarily agree but I'm not opposed either. Just try to take advantage of those 5 years this time and don't extend past it.

Exactly.

They're morons if they take a CB in the first, but if they do take one outside of the top 3 guys I hope it's Forbes or Banks, not Smith.
I like all these corners but I can't in the first. Go get me a Rush, Blu Kelley or Brent's later. Or some other corner I'm not thinking of. I like the first round guys but I also like the third round and later guys.

I'd rather take a guy like Kancey in the first if I'm going defense. Actually he might be my favorite defensive player at 26. My preference is receiver or a dominant Olineman (or Robinson) but if I'm going defense my thought isn't at corner.

I don't know why Bland doesn't get more respect as a potential high end starter. He has the size, he has the speed and he has the instincts. So what if he was a fifth round pick. He was one of the best rookie corners last year but he gets overlooked like hey, he was nice but we need a legit corner opposite Diggs. Um he is legit.

Yea it's insane, just take Brents in the 2nd if we're so hard up for a CB.

As far as Kancey, I agree, even if he's a nickel/dime player only someone with his pass rush is more valuable than taking a CB when it's very possible that a 1st round CB isn't even one of our top 3 CB's next year.

Yes. This. If he even lasts that long.
I mean I'm thinking more like 4th for Brent's personally. If he has moved up that far I'd probably move on to a different corner. There are a lot of good ones in this draft. Some will fall. Just don't force it.

The CB chatter is only relevant if we allow Anthony Brown to leave and perhaps if we are tiring of Boss Man Fat. The asshole pucker factor is also high with the Joneses with Diggs coming soon. If a corner is BPA, I could see us taking one in the first round.

I get what you're saying, but why would it be a need that requires a 1st round investment when neither Brown or Joseph are slated to be one of our top 3 CB's next year?

Sure, we need depth, but who are we sending to the bench? Bland who was one of the best rookie CB's last year? Lewis?

Just cut him now in that case and use that money elsewhere.

Taking what could very easily be your 4th CB in 2023 in the first is insane, although it would be right up their alley to spend a 1st on a position so they don't have to pay someone like Diggs.

I mean if you aren't resigning Diggs than franchise him, it's not complicated. Gives you 2 more years. Take a couple corners third rounder and later and see how they look a year from now.

I guess we can say goodbye to what little hopes of drafting we had of drafting Duece Vaughan.
