Probably the NFL's way of throwing in an extra layer of punishment. Make his first game back against the city and franchise that he gave the middle finger to.

I mean, anyone that knows right from wrong knows he was doing some sketchy stuff. Now maybe that is totally legal and not criminal. But that's a different animal.
Truth of the matter is people settle all the time. Watsons didn't want to lose 16 games and the NFL got to save face by not having a 6 game suspension.
