Love how one of the greatest players our franchise has ever had has the humility to praise his UDFA teammate.

Gotta admit that I was wrong on Steele, gave up on him in his first couple games. He looks like he could be a force at RT and we should be content to let Tyron fill in when he's healthy as the swing.

This O-Line is looking pretty damn good again and great things are gonna happen if they keep running the ball.

Whatever he comes back and gives us this year is a bonus. I wouldn't shake up the oline for him though.

Next year, there should be two options. One, trade him. Two, move him or Tyler to guard. The thing that shouldn't be an option though, but scares me that they'll do, is cut him.

He's kind of one of Jerry's sacred cows so I doubt they'll cut him. I bet he'll either retire or take a reduced salary (or reduced extension for cap purposes) to stay another year or two.

I love the guy and he has brought a lot to this team, but I think it is time for him to just hang it up.

I bet they'd trade him. He'd still have value to some LT-starved team for a couple of years, and his contract isn't even bad. I bet you could get something decent for him.

I doubt we trade him. With veteran all timers like Smith Jerry rarely wants to trade them. He will either set Smith free to sign with whoever he wants or he will retire. Being friends with the guy down the road means more to Jerry than getting compensation.
