Zeke and Parsons were really campaigning for him today, saying "We want OBJ" and similar.

I just have a bad feeling about this.

Yep, they've just been lucky that they're playing a bunch of shit teams who they're getting first half KO's on, which also protects their surprisingly questionable run defense.

They've played Detroit, Minnesota (extremely overrated and it was on MNF so of course Cousins was in a fugue state), Washington (with Wentz), Jacksonville, Pittsburgh, Arizona (only won because Arizona missed a short FG to send it to OT), Houston and us with Rush.

That's literally like 4 of the worst 6 teams in the league, two backups (I'm counting Washington here since they're clearly better with Heinicke), Arizona who is pretty shit and it was a nailbiter to begin with, and Minnesota with Cousins being weird because it's primetime.

They're emptying the bucket with the RPO misdirection stuff and using Hurts as a short yardage back, and it's just a perfect storm of them having a really weak schedule and things breaking their way in the few tight games they played.

I just hope the hype continues to build because they'll inevitably disappoint in the playoffs if they're looked at as some sort of juggernaut/Super Bowl favorite.

You called it and I'm looking forward to it.

Boomsday will put an end to it if no one else does.

Why does it take a half now to adjust? The league has seen it enough now that you should go into the game knowing what to do.
It is more like the Eagles front load their game plans. They have ways to show the same look and do different things.

They empty the clip quick, both within games and seasons, which is why I think they slow down in the second half of games in general, and why I think they'll slow down as the season goes on.

But their weak ass schedule has more to do with it than anything.

Seems strange to line up like this.

Probably working on his man to man for when he needs it... or they were just playing around.
