I must finally be broken. None of this upsets me in the slightest.
I'm getting there. I'm not nearly as upset as I would have been a decade ago.
I said this elsewhere, but it's not even the failure that bothers me as much as the abject idiocy they employed in arriving at the failure.
First, make moves that baffle everyone with half a brain. Then, make excuses for what they did and act as if it was necessary and suggest they are the smartest people in the room. Finally, when it all blows up in their faces, deflect responsibility and blame everyone and anyone but themselves.
How many times over the years have they taken rosters that were close to being able to compete in the playoffs and completely annihilated any progress they'd stumbled onto?
Too many to count, and it's wearing me down.
