Even with the projected easier schedule, history says the Cowboys won't even win the NFC East next year. They're not a back-to-back strong seasons type of franchise. They're more of a rollercoaster franchise.
It's gonna depend on if we get the offense back on track. We can't keep relying on the D to get points

IDK, every time we assume the Cowboys are going to take another step forward and build upon a double-digit win season, they take a massive step back the following season.

2003-2004: 10 wins to 6 wins

2007-2008: 13 wins to 9 wins

2009-2010: 11 wins to 6 wins

2014-2015: 12 wins to 4 wins

2016-2017: 13 wins to 9 wins

2018-2019: 10 wins to 8 wins

That's why I don't have a lot of confidence in them making the playoffs next year.

Yeah the only difference is this is McCarthys team who has a history of going to the playoffs like 8 years straight. Garrett was a bit different.

I hope they can break the cycle. A lot depends on what they're able to do with the OL and OL coach. Feels like more than anything, that's the key to getting the offense back on track.

Yeah I mean the key is to look at the team like it still needs fixed at 12-5 the same way you look at a team that is 6-10. You can't go into the offseason with a run it back mentality when you weren't good enough.

1:46 is an eternity for teams that have a decent QB.

Rest In Peace, SF.

Love to know how Jerry feels about Cincy going to a SB after 31 years, on the heels of of 2 - 14 and 4 - 11 seasons. It's been damn near as long for Jerry and his teams never make it past an occasional wild card.

Success is cyclical in the NFL. But a 25-year drought is not cyclical.

Last time the Bengals played in the SB was very close to when Jerry bought the team.

Moreso than the Bengals, I wonder if the Rams selling their future for now inspires Jerruh, especially since Jerruh doesn’t have much a future left.

~Cowboys acquire TJ Watt for ten 1st rounders beginning 2030~
