Trade deadline.
But this is the NFL, not the NBA or MLB.

Mid-season blockbuster trades are not a thing in this league.

I know trading has gotten a little more aggressive in recent years, but there's certainly not enough history there to refer to a move like that as something you only do for a run.

It's just another bullshit excuse for why he and the organization have become cheap and incompetent in acquiring outside help.

What's that? Jerry said something silly and angered the masses again?

Yea, no shit.

Parsons, Miller and Lawrence, supplemented by guys like Fowler, Williams, Armstrong and Basham would have been an unstoppable rotation. With the ballhawks we have in the secondary I truly believe they would've had 2013 Seahawks/2015 Broncos type potential.

But Stephen has his budget and that comes first above all, including winning.

Would've been fucking sick.

Notebloom hasn’t sucked that bad before.

The real issue now is their entire interior OL.
He's only been a spot starter though, different ballgame when you're starting week in, week out over a whole season.

Stephen talking about "schools of thought" in free agency :lol

He might have done a hell of a job bringing the team out of some really bad salary cap situations due to Jerry's aggressive free agency signings...and he should be applauded for that.

But those days are long gone and he needs not waste another season of Micah Parsons' illustrious career cheap skating his way through free agency.

If the "championship" to you is being the most valuable franchise, there's nothing wrong with that. You've certainly done a tremendous job of creating a somewhat automatic money-making machine.

If you ever want to hoist your own Lombardi, though, you're going to need to get out of the way and hire someone outside of your family to run football operations...or maybe ask Deddy to send you to a new thought school?

You don’t have to look any further than the Rams, Saints etc to see the “salary cap” isn’t really a cap after all.
The Cowboys excuses for not signing big difference makers are just that, excuses.
Sadly I don’t see it changing as Jerry gets older. In fact it’s getting worse - Jerry would at least roll the dice every so often. Now, they are just super cheap spinsters who bargain bin shop for “their guys” who really don’t make much of an impact. There have been a few bright spot signings, but it’s not been enough to get over the hump.
Again, same actions, same outcome.

Yeah I just think it's very possible the guy sucks. Vonn Miller looked great but I think you sort of have to see how he does over the course of a few more games.

Either way the Rams Oline looked like shit and they are in real trouble if that continues.
