That pretty much is the kiss of death. There is no going back.

Yeah no shat. The dude isn’t sitting here talking about staying the course, how convicted he is about Haskins and his future. He publicly told his ass last week, ”if you suck, you’re gone.”I've always liked Rivera and this just confirms it a little more.
You know Danny absolutely hates this but he's doing it anyway.
Which I wouldn't doubt at all. He's always seemed kind of immature.Kinda dumb. Haskins is the future; not Allen. And since this is essentially Haskins' rookie year, rookies should be allowed to struggle. If he has a bad attitude or blows off film sessions, that'd be different.
I think he has a hard on for Kyle Allen. A pet cat if you will.Kinda dumb. Haskins is the future; not Allen. And since this is essentially Haskins' rookie year, rookies should be allowed to struggle. If he has a bad attitude or blows off film sessions, that'd be different.
Well yeah, he coached him in Carolina, but Haskins has superior raw ability at the position. The notion that Haskins should ride the bench because the new regime "didn't draft him" is incredibly short-sighted.I think he has a hard on for Kyle Allen. A pet cat if you will.
thats what I was thinking which would make since considering every time I hear Ramsey speak I'm reminded of Lyle, the Effeminate Heterosexual on SNLA male one?
There will be other first round QBs next year. In my opinion you ride Haskins and either suck or he develops. Maybe Allen gets you an extra win or two. Who cares. That guy isn't taking you anywhere and all you did was make the draft more difficult. I personally think Haskins sucks and they should draft a new one. But I don't think Allen or Alex Smith makes any sense either.the Skins won't be bad enough to draft Lawrence, so they better have a Plan B in mind for next year
yeah, Haskins should be no lower than #2. this sounds punitive. But I don't think Allen or Alex Smith makes any sense either.

You don't want to send a message of entitlement. If a guy sucks that bad, don't play him. Draft status or whatever doesn't and shouldn't matter. There will be other first round QBs next year. well, he's supposed to suck. a lot of great ones sucked early on.What?
Haskins sucks.
you know that after 12 career starts? He is most definitely not their future
might as well be. he was thrown into the fire last year wholly unprepared by a soon-to-be-fired head coach and had no off-season to speak of due to Covid.and this is literally not his rookie year.
Yes, I know that after 12 career starts. I knew it before his 12 career starts. Always thought he was pretty overrated at Ohio State and it's looking exactly like that in the pros. Just like I knew it with Paxton Lynch. A lot of guys you can pretty much tell.well, he's supposed to suck. a lot of great ones sucked early on.

And I think I saw a photo of Gilmore and Mahomes hugging it out after the game too.
They are going to have to bubble these guys if they want to play a whole season. Watch there be some Chiefs getting sick because they tried to rush that game in.
That's a "we're done with you" type of a move.
Just what I was thinking. That pretty much is the kiss of death. There is no going back.
