Bellicheck hater? The number of years wasnt the point. He certainly wont sign for 2. Were you a Garrett apologist? maybe you would rather have another 10 years of Garrett or another 3 or 4 of MM?

Belli is the only guy that could come in and have a chance to fix this country club nonsense.
If you're such a Belichick homer maybe you should learn to spell his name correctly.

Are you retarded? What about anything I said has anything to do with what you are accusing me of?

First, I happen to think Belichick is one of the best ever.

Second, and by far most important, don't EVER fucking assume I'm a Garrett lover. That's such dumb fucking logic based on what I said it sours our entire conversation.

So congrats. You took what could have been an interesting conversation and pissed all over it.

Atlanta refused to hire him because he would likely push back. I do not believe Jerry Jones, nor his idiot child, want to walk on egg shells again.
Jerry is an idiot. He will blow it again next year once we get knocked out early. If we even make it.

LOL..............at least Im not some jackass that makes up arguments in my own head.

Any clown that starts conversations out with "Firstly" is typically some Ahole that likes to argue just for the sake of it.

I also didnt assume you were a Garrett lover. It was a question. That ? at the end of the sentence might have clued you into that.

See what I mean? You make up arguments in your own head.

"Duh FIRSTLY Belichick wouldnt sign for 7 years"!! BWAAAAA!!!!! Try to relax little angry guy. :cry

Imagine going to a place for conversation and then acting like such a a retarded toddler that you turn people off from wanting to actually talk to you, and then acting like it's the other person's fault.

The laughable aspect of these "draft grades" is that most of them would be A/A+ grades had we drafted a RB in the 2nd or 3rd round, because that's basically the only position that most "analysts" knew the team needed, so they hung their grade exclusively on one pick rather than the collective value of the entire draft.

Imagine asking some guy a few simple questions and he turns into a name calling jackass arguing with you about things you never said.

Ive been a long time at this Cowboys chat room thing on many boards. You act like an asshole and you get it right back from me.

The funniest thing is you said you love Belichick and here you are arguing with me and name calling me about him.

And if you hated Garrett then at least I know something positive about you. That Garrett question is my base Cowboys question to see if you know anything at all about football.

I bet we probably agree on 80% everything Cowboys. Maybe take a breath and give your brain a chance to think and we might get along just fine.

Or dont. I enjoy either.

Taking the linebacker over a RB with that 2nd pick in the 3rd was the mistake in my mind. Unless you have some info on this linebacker I havent read. I am definitely glad they didnt reach for one in the 2nd, but there were some quality backs left when that pick came around.

Even if we did, are you telling me a RB wasn't close? Like maybe a 3.1 vs a 3.2 (Not sure how our grading scale works)

I mean you can't tell me we had this LBer ranked as a second round prospect. So maybe he was a third on our board. You didn't have any RBs as thirds? The LBer obviously wasn't some blinking light. I get it we really like him. I'll let that play out but if he was the best on your board than trade down. Turn that pick into a RB and a LBer. Or whatever.
Marshawn Lloyd fell right into out lap. He was the guy I was praying dropped and he did. Laughably he went with the very next pick after the Cowboys took Loofla by the Packers.

I said during the pre-draft podcast that I didn't really care about using the draft to maximize the ability to compete next year, primarily because I think these morons are trying to win even less than they normally would.

So while the RB thing is ridiculous and will undoubtedly be one of the main reasons the team fails this year, I don't really care because to me it was more important to have a more future-oriented mindset rather than trying to find guys who can play roles right now on a potential Super Bowl run. Thinking about the future is part of the idea every year of course, but at least in my mind it was even more so the case this year.

With all that in mind, I'm not bumping an otherwise awesome draft down to a B- or whatever just because we didn't use it to add a RB, which is still a fungible/easily addressed position either way even if these fucks are choosing to completely ignore it.

The most important thing is that they completely reset the OL clock with loads of talent that will form the foundation of the offense and potentially even the entire roster over the next 5+ years, while adding really solid value on the defensive side with guys like Kneeland (future starter) and Carson (potential future starter).
Marshown LLoyd was there for the taking with the 2nd 3rd round pick. He would started for the next 4 years. Loofa will be a special teams player next year and we would be lucky if he actually became a starter at some point.

Great, one shitty pick, that's why I'd give it a B+ or A-.

Dude, I can guarantee that in terms of the Cowboys message board lore, I am kind of a big deal.

Big fish, small pond.

I have seen your type come and go around these parts.

But I will tell you one thing, if you act like a wounded bitch, you might get treated accordingly.
