So let the military of a psychotic, criminal authoritarian with designs on destabilizing Europe and the entire post-WW2 order continue raping and killing literal children because "it's not our war"?

This is the most serious geopolitical situation since WW2, more so than anything that went on in the Middle East, Vietnam or anywhere else, don't let all those sunk costs blind you to the importance of this situation.

Especially because Russia is clearly weak military and Ukraine is very motivated and organized, they don't even need us to provide any direct assistance in terms of personnel, it's just intelligence, technology and weapons.

And this endless money-printing is what's causing inflation to skyrocket and our economy to crumble. The current stock market meltdown is a direct result of that, also.

As for the child rapes, of course that's horrible. But I'd bet good money that far fewer Ukranian kids have been raped than those flooding our southern border. The cartels are evil, evil people. And the current group isn't doing anything about that.

The money printed during COVID is way more the reason for inflation and such than spending $15 billion or whatever so far in Ukraine, and the ROI is way higher.

I'm not going to argue with the need to do stuff on the border or with vets or whatever, but to me it isn't either/or, we're the most powerful, richest country in the world, we can address all of it as long as the political will is there.

Whatever, we spent literal trillions on COVID, with Lord knows how much of that going directly to people as stimulus. I'm guessing at least $500 billion of that went directly into people's pockets and who knows how much of that was a result of fraud.

When the government is handing out hundreds of billions to the general public because of COVID, with a decent chunk of that likely going to people committing fraud, I'm ok spending a fraction of that on what is quite likely the most consequential geopolitical situation since WW2.

I'm not okay with spending any of it. You are missing my point. This isn't whataboutism. I didn't want them to print any of that money. And, if we just have to spend money on something it needs to be on something that benefits this fucking country, not some country halfway across the globe.
