Sucks that Tyler's ankle is hurt. Would be nice to at least throw him out there at LT and see how he does. Now we can't even do that.

All because that turd Ball stepped on it.
Yea that piece of shit also tripped Tyler on the 1st or 2nd drive of the game because his bitch ass got dumptrucked on a run play. The guy shouldn't even be on the roster, let alone considered a possibility to actually play.

I liked what I saw from Collins. I’m just throwing shit at walls now, but he was solid in run blocking. I don’t know if Steele can flip sides.

Again, that ankle sprain really sucks. If they were seriously thinking about this, now he can't even play last night or get practice reps at T. If he could have played a half last night and looked good, maybe this doesn't sound so insane.

It sounds extremely minor, in the grand scheme he probably only ends up missing 2 practices and a preseason game with a bunch of 3rd stringers since I'd imagine he'll be able to practice next week.

At any rate, I'm fine with playing him at LT, he's probably even more comfortable there than LG considering he's only really played that position. He'll have plenty of growing pains but if Philbin and the offensive coaches are worth a shit they can make it work considering his immense natural ability.

The real problem is if there's another injury, which is why I'd sign someone either way. Ideally someone like Peters who could play LG or even RT.

And regardless of what happens in 2022, giving Smith 10+ games at LT this year will better inform draft strategy next year.

If he plays 10+ games at LT, I assume he's your starting LT for the next several years. I don't really see him busting out there, do you?

I'm just worried that right now he hasn't had any reps there. If Tyron's hamstring had to blow up, why couldn't it have been three weeks ago?

Imagine that. Our future GM basically telling everyone to suck a dick, he’s GOT it all figured out.
Just makes it easier for me, no self induced pressure to sit and watch this shitshow on Sundays.
That comment was spoken by a true cocksucker. He doesn’t even try to work it like his father.

He just might not be able to put it all together on the edge with his technique issues, so I could see a scenario where he looks really bad and we want to move him back inside while prioritizing an LT.

Or maybe you have mixed results and draft a guy like Skoronski who could play LT or kick inside.

It'll just give much more of an idea where we have to go at LT.

Some college LTs aren't cut out for NFL LT but are absolute studs at LG. Could be the case for Smith.
