I think I have a thing against short WRs. If you are under 5'10" I really have a hard time getting excited. Skyy Moore is 5'9".

The guy went to the Chiefs who did a lot with a short WR they just traded away. Skyy Moore could have no better opportunity than the Chiefs. But I think I'm happier with Tolbert. I like a big guy who can play inside or outside.
I liked his quickness. Plus he plays with a lot of energy... Reminds me a little of Steve Smith. Not as strong and physical, or I'm sure as good overall, but similar kind of style.

I think we need someone with that suddenness. Like simp posted, Tolbert is very close to a Gallup clone. Which is okay, but I'd like someone with a different style who could create more separation.

Fuck it. Just called in "sick" for work tomorrow.

You normally have to work on Saturdays? That sucks.

I'd have taken Lloyd over Smith although the OL situation could've been bad. Raimann could've been the pick at 56, or maybe you get Marquis Hayes here late, but the pickings would've been very slim with guys like Ingram and Ezeudu going earlier than expected.

In hindsight I'd take Smith/Williams over Lloyd/Raimann.
I would as well. I realize I am almost tuned to be negative by sheer instinct, but I feel okay about these picks.

No real feeling of disgust like I have had with picks like Charlton, for example.

Malone and Ebiteke in Atlanta are going to be a good pair. In fact, I think the Falcons killed it with what they had.

London, Ebikete, Troy Andersen, Desmond Ridder and Malone. Very nice.
Yeah not bad at all for them. Seems like they have done a good job laying some foundation for their future.

One thing Tolbert is not is sudden.

He is gradual.

There were a few targets in round 2 that we would have taken if Williams was gone. Tolbert was one. Paschal DE from Kentucky. I think I prefer Williams and Tolbert to any of the other combos.
I understand, but he meant we'd have taken either of those guys (especially Moore) instead of Williams. At least there was a very good chance of it in his opinion.

I still really like Salyer who is still out there. I think he is a plug and play guard.
I would not mind getting another interior guy just because. Salyer is a good one. We looked at Tennessee’s Cade Mays a good bit.

He doesn't have the pure speed of Steve Smith in my opinion. Moore would have done really well in the slot here. But my comp for him was always Randal Cobb. Which there is no shame in.

I think Tolbert is a bit Gallup like. I think he gets better separation though. Tolberts route running style does a really good job of creating separation. He varies his speeds very well. And it causes DBs trouble. Upside is just greater with Tolbert in my opinion.

I think Tolbert has a higher ceiling than Wilson.
I do too.

I would have traded up for Pickens who I think has the highest ceiling of all the day 2 WRs. But Tolbert is a really good player and a great person.

Or Jaylon f'ing Smith. I melted down when we made that pick.
