I thought Deion famously refused to watch film... and we know he went over the coach's head straight to the owner's office.

It kind of is a problem when the entire offense, literally every position group except I guess TE, fell off a cliff basically all at once.
And there were large periods where we forgot about Schultz late in the year too

It's not a player thing, IMO. It was a focus thing. Moore really has fallen off a cliff at some point in every season. The last Garrett year it was glaring, even as it was this year. Yeah, you can give him a mulligan for 2020.

He probably is extremely smart. But he doesn't have a consistent killer instinct. He was a product of systems his entire football career and he believes in design. He struggles with how games flow and quite honestly, I can't tell you what he fundamentally believes in.

Keep Zeke and get rid of Cooper. What a fucked up situation. Fucking dumbass contracts.
This is the exact opposite of what I would do.

Elliott...I get it. Play out one more year on the sunk cost.

No way I cut Cooper and make Gallup a priority. I like the player, okay? I just don't like him, like him...especially coming off a knee injury.

Get ready for a WR in the draft if we cut Cooper. We can't afford to dump a WR 1 by resigning an injured #2.

Just keep Cooper, that's what I would do. He is worth the money. Let Gallup walk if you have to. He is easier to replace in the middle rounds or in free agency.

I'd be fine with getting rid of Cooper and bringing back Gallup/Wilson as a way of deemphasizing the investment in the passing game, but cutting Cooper just to spend a 1 or even a 2 on another WR would be completely idiotic.

I don't know about that.

Be honest about Gallup. Is he a WR1 in this league on a good team? Probably not.

We already know Lamb is not ready to be the alpha.

Loser organization. League only has so many WRs capable of being the #1 guy.

CeeDee ain’t that guy, not with Dak, not with the defense focusing on him. Gallup sure as fuck is not that guy

You keep elite WR talent, especially when you’ve already signed them.

I mean, you think the price is going to drop? Only a BUFFOON like Jones publicly sours on one of his best players just because he got indigestion one day.

Fuck you Skeletor.

I don't think so, but I also think this roster should be heavily slanted towards the defense and run game so I'm ok with making Prescott make do with those WR's while the majority of the resources are poured into the defense/OL.

Cutting Cooper just to turn around and spend another high pick on a WR, on a guy who is unlikely to be as good as Cooper is now until 2-3 years down the line (if ever) while only half-heartedly building the OL and defense would be idiotic.

Just keep Cooper in that case and keep your picks fresh without manufacturing a need.

How much better could fat Zeke do behind a Top 5 offensive line?
