That was my thought as well.

Had to go look it up and there were quite a few votes for Ronnie Lott. Some for Hugh Green and Kenny Easley.
So it's settled, Micah is better than LT.

I'm kidding, he's not there yet...but soon.

It's only a matter of time honestly unless we make at least an NFCC in the next year or two (depending on how long Payton wants to take off before returning).

And I'm not even sure an NFCC appearance would save McCarthy.

It would be considered a title promotion? Seems weird.
I actually think you can block those now if you wanted to. But at the same time you don't really want to do that because it would really piss off a coach and you'd have a bitter coach out there which makes no sense either. I think the only thing considered a promotion now is going from an assistant position to head coach. I could be wrong but I think that's what they changed it to a while back.

The good news is he must be a somewhat respected coach to at least be considered.

Saints are interviewing cowboys new Wr coach Prince for OC position
It’s showing up now but Twitter was having issues earlier so that’s probably why it wasn’t showing.

What "Old school" attributes does Deion have? He was bling, flash, mouth, and money his entire career.
Troy, Emmitt, Woodson, and for the most part Irvin had old school attitudes.
Hard, punishing, work I think along with practices in pads.

Today’s athletes don’t have to put up with nearly as much of that.

I recall he was one of the slackers during the Switzer era.
Yep, he was known for “enjoying the ride” and bringing custom golf carts to drive around training camp, but even he would still practice and put in the work.

The real problem was Switzer being so lax and “treating players like men”
