This is one of the harder parts of this failure of a season to come to grips with.

This kid deserved a lot more.

One of the most likeable players in recent memory. And I initially thought he was a mental dork like Arrington was.

In retrospect this guy was the best reason to watch this team this year and I hope they continue to build the defense to take advantage of his abilities. Dude is a damn beast. One of those every once in a while players that elevates everyone around him.

He is so good that he basically requires singular attention. Now it is not cool when a guy like Aiyuk holds him and it is not called.

But teams are focusing on him, he needs something more than the stiff Vander Esch can provide.

I hate the communist salary cap with a fucking passion. At the very least you should be able to pay your own draft picks whatever the fuck you want to.

"Communist"? Okay.

The Salary Cap is nothing but a scheme.

If you can't handle the cap, you usually have a very overzealous GM that is trying to keep his job, rolling the dice.

Or you have a stupid son's owner who digs in his ear when he gets asked a tough question.

Let the owners pay what they want. Communist is the right metaphor.

He will have a hard time drawing roughing penalties for a while.

The salary cap is a mechanism for league-wide mediocrity. Except for the few really good teams and a few truly putrid teams, you get a whole bunch at 7 - 6 with a few games left. Theoretically they're in the hunt with four games remaining. Keeps up fan interest till near the end. Good for TV ratings, which is good for TV rights deals, which puts the same amount of money in every owner's pocket.

That's not communism, that's just a rigged game. What else is new?

Dak just assured us we're getting the ass end of calls for probably the rest of our lifetimes. Fricking awesome.

i think we were already doing that. its a private league and they made sure we know they can what they wish.

Dak needs to spend the offseason watching film with Kurt Warner. Is there anyone in the QB room pointing this stuff out to him?

Or maybe Jerry just opens the pocketbook and see if Kurt is interested in leaving TV.

Wow. Pretty much what a lot of us have been saying, but what an indictment of both Moore and Prescott this is.

Obviously we're stuck with Dak for now, but we desperately need to get out from under Moore.

Hopefully we're just waiting to see if he gets a HC job somewhere. It would be a dick move to fire him while he's interviewing for a promotion. Hopefully someone hires him, but if not we need to move on.

McCarthy or even McAdoo running the offense couldn't possibly be worse than this.

To be clear, watching Warner's breakdown I think Dak is the bigger issue. There were plenty of perfectly fine concepts in there where Dak simply made the wrong read, didn't backpeddle correctly and messed up the timing, or hesitated throwing and messed up the timing. But unfortunately we're stuck with him.

Agree. Very damning of Moore. Not so much Prescott because he's not designing the plays. But what Warner said at the beginning about getting the ball out of the QB's hand is also Moore's fault.

Moore better hope Jerry never sees this video. If I were Jerry (or an owner) I'd have some people sitting in my office, watching it, asking how the fuck does this guy have this figured out and you don't? Doesn't seem rocket science. Get it figured out in the off season or hit the fuckin' bricks.
