enough of bashing the offense. I am starting to believe PFF is onto something regarding Diggs. Old man AJ Green juked him out of his cleats with a double move, and had Murray not underthrown it, it's an easy walk in TD.

So, one play makes the ridiculous PFF grades legit?

How much are we paying this QB again? How long are we married to him?

How is everyone feeling about the marriage?

How much would he be making if he could actually read a defense and consistently hit open WRs? How much would that cost?

Right now I'm glad he forced us into a shorter deal, and while I think he can be salvaged I wouldn't be against having a contingency plan at QB.

Diggs is young and still learning . On that 3rd and 9 play , he tried to make the big play ( turnover ) with no safety help over the top … it was a dumb mistake .. instead he should have stuck to his man ..made the play …and got off the field ..his aggressiveness and why the double move worked

I would take his aggression and the 11 INTs over bend but don't break all damn day.

I don't think there is a contingency plan unless we're willing to take a QB in the 1st, which would more or less necessitate us getting rid of Dak ASAP.

Look around the league, what team has an elite-level QB taken in the mid-rounds?

Maybe, but what has he done since their all-time caliber defense fell apart?

About as much as Dak has done the last 5 years.

Unless Dak declines even further there's really no other option except continue building up the defense and hope you can make a run without asking him to do too much.

But if he plays as he is now over the next 3 years he has to have some self-awareness and be fine with a deal that is only ~85-90% of the top of the market. If not, then maybe you try to trade him ahead of time and hope you have a strong defense that can ease the transition for a rookie QB.

Nobody said he's perfect. Every corner gets beat.

Did you notice him getting beat badly the rest of the game? No? Interesting.

I noticed they were picking on Brown quite a bit though.

the Cards used his aggressiveness against him, like others before. Theres a good reason he has 11 picks and QBs dont always throw away from him.

Lewis was the other egregious long completion of 43 yards.

Maybe but it feels like it'd have to be a perfect storm of a situation for us to end up taking someone in the 1st, like another injury to Dak that has us picking top 5 or so.
