Osa is getting there. Gregory is becoming a terror and I'm excited to get Gallimore back.
Yeah, we talked about Osa. Gallimore is nice but unproven. Gregory has tended to be "it's always something."

We will see. There are some warts there.

Parsons and Diggs are like true stars. These other guys seem like good complimentary players to me. Which you need those too. But again, looking for the DWare on that DL.

Diggs on the other hand is making me a believer. Production can always dry up when it comes to turnovers but the guy seems like a legit stud at this point.
Yeah at some point teams are going to shy away from him. But that's the nature of a really good corner. And probably why teams prefer elite pass rushers over elite corners. Easier to just not throw at Diggs than it is to avoid Osa in the middle for example. Still it helps a ton with coverages when you have one guy the offense is afraid of.

Yes, it would quite obviously be nice to add an HOF caliber DT/edge rusher to the group, but what we have right now, with just one more solid defensive draft, could be something.
I tell you what, we need to find a way to keep Gallup.

If Osa keeps it up he is potentially a probowl DT which is a pretty big feat for a rookie DT. So I wouldn't sleep on him. Maybe not Ware but Jay Ratliff on the D-line is a pretty big deal too.

We will see on Gregory. The last two weeks he has caused a lot of problems for offenses. I think he is just getting into the groove. Hard when you sit out as long as him but his traits are still off the charts. And Lawrence is still a really good NFL DE. You get a unit of Gallimore, Osa, Lawrence and Gregory and I think things start to really click. And maybe I'm giving Gallimore the benefit of the doubt on that but coming into this season he was our best DT.

I'm a little concerned about Dalton fumbling the ball so much.
yeah, and he let himself get stopped on the goal line. He had a fantastic game, though.

It's starting to really feel like we hit a home run on this pick. I know he needs to prove it over the long haul but this isn't a head case like Irving. This is a guy who has worked his ass off his whole life as an athlete. I'm really excited not only about where he is but what he could become. And no I don't think this is Crawford all over again. Crawford flashed but he never showed us this consistent of production.
It's been three games, that's the definition of flashing versus showing consistent production.

No reason not to feel good - it's just that some are getting carried away. Let's just wait and see.

4 games...

But yeah. It's just nice to see a guy who started the season dominating against the run and has now upped his game as a pass rusher too. It is too early but you could say similar stuff about Parsons. He just happened to come into the league as the shiney new toy so it's expected.

Parsons was dominant in college too, that is why there are expectations. Osa was obviously great in college too, that's why he got drafted, but it's just a different level when you are discussing someone who was considered the best defender in the draft by many sources.

Yeah if Osa was a top 15 draft pick he would be viewed differently. Instead he was a third round pick so I get a bit more skepticism. But you only get some many top draft picks so sometimes your other picks you have to hit big too. Osa has the look to me.

No damn way this should have been a penalty.
Yeah the problem is any big hit gets a flag despite what actually happened. They need to adopt the college games review on this stuff. I get it is bang bang and hard for a ref to judge, but it takes two seconds of review to see It's not an illegal hit.

yup that let the drive stay active and turned the game around, horrible call..just bad targeting type , roughing, etc should be challengeable..i mean if they dont review it how do they know its actually targeting like in college..if you say it was helmet to helmet PRIVE IT..apologizing for these mistakes on Tuesday wont cut it..

too big a play to ignore and not reverse..

those last 14 points came after extending drives over bad calls..refs made sure this wasnt and embarrassment to the ratings..ughh
