Yeah he wasn't top 10 but I saw plenty of teens projections. Hell I think he was far better than the corner the Falcons took in the first.Brugler had him going at #17 in his last mock before the draft.

A CB at pick 10 in this draft would just as good as a CB at 20.
I want to see Rousseau's combine numbers and conditioning.
Same here. I certainly wouldn't reach for him in the top half of the draft. I believe most projections have him going late 1st round.I Agee. Not sure I love Collins as much as some though.
It's like they didn't pay attention to the 2020 season.I know I'm not ready for it.
This would be a solid pick, though, talent wise, and also have the effect of booting Smith off the starting defense.I wouldn't even use the #10 pick on Parsons.
I mean if you can shut down the run entirely it makes things so much easier on defense. It's like they didn't pay attention to the 2020 season.
The secondary was nothing to write home about but the run defense was a flat out embarrassment. The defense allowed approximately 160 rushing yards per game and over 5 yards per carry yet these knuckleheads are worried about adding CBs.
Welcome aboard the Draft Barmore Train.I think I'm all on the Barmore train right now. 6'5" 310 pounds and can rush the passer and stuff the run. We shall see but based on his finish to the season and age I don't think 10 will be too rich for him.
I think sometimes I get sucked in by late season success a little. But that's not always a bad thing. Big time play in some big time games just shows you how good it could get. 8 sacks from a DT who looks like he can do it all.Welcome aboard the Draft Barmore Train.
I am not going to get too excited about him.I think sometimes I get sucked in by late season success a little. But that's not always a bad thing. Big time play in some big time games just shows you how good it could get. 8 sacks from a DT who looks like he can do it all.
So much better than taking a fricking CB.I think I'm all on the Barmore train right now. 6'5" 310 pounds and can rush the passer and stuff the run. We shall see but based on his finish to the season and age I don't think 10 will be too rich for him.
That's okay. That's our strength. He's got issues against the run
The whole thing about the DT position is what Quinn requires. So much better than taking a fricking CB.
If we're going to reach, then why not reach for production and power inside. He's got issues against the run, but maybe that's because of how Bama used him. Beggars can't be choosers I guess.
I still want Rousseau. Just feel like he could be special while Barmore might just be solid. That's okay. That's our strength.
I am not a big fan of his. Not that he is bad, just that he is not "top 10" worthy to me.I still want Rousseau. Just feel like he could be special while Barmore might just be solid.
Agree totally. But he's still better than taking a CB.If so, that could be Barmore. But just because he is the best DT in this draft is no reason to take him at 10.
It is a hard year to evaluate. Hell you have a guy like Daviyon Nixon who I love. But he only played like 8 games this year. So how do you rate his 5.5 sacks in 8 games compared to Barmore who has 8 sacks in 13 games. You not only have opt outs but guys who have played vastly different amount of games this season.I am not going to get too excited about him.
I will be honest, the most I watched him was in the CFB playoffs. And he looked pretty good.
But that was a small sample size.
That is going to be the hard part about evaluating this draft class.
With so may opt outs, cancelled games etc., if I have a top 10 pick, I want to be certain about the player.
I am just hoping there are at least one or two guys we are not talking about right now that just zoom up.Who defensively besides Rousseau and Parsons is worth the top ten at this point?
That's why I say go BPA at 10 and chase defense the rest of the draft.
No one is going to trade, short of a star QB falling.
There will be. And everyone will think it's from the combine or something like that. But frankly a lot of it is just catching up on the 2020 evaluations.I am just hoping there are at least one or two guys we are not talking about right now that just zoom up.
